Schedule

Schedules are based on client needs and employee availability. Opportunities may include: * Day shifts * Evening/second shifts * Night shifts * Weekend shifts * On-call opportunities

Travel

Within approximately a 60-mile radius.

Responsibilities

Caregivers provide compassionate assistance to clients in their homes and communities. Duties may include: * Personal care and hygiene assistance * Assistance with activities of daily living * Meal preparation * Light housekeeping and laundry * Companionship and respite care * Transportation, shopping, and errands * Medication reminders * Assistance with mobility and ambulation * Reporting changes or unusual incidents * Responding appropriately to emergencies * Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED * Previous personal care, home care, hospital, nursing home, or direct-care experience preferred * Compassionate and dependable approach to client care * Ability to read, write, and follow directions * Strong communication skills * Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license * CPR and First Aid certification is a plus * Successful completion of a required criminal history check
