Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to individuals with Dementia and alzhiemers and disabilities. In this vital role, you will foster a safe, nurturing environment while helping with daily ADL's . Your enthusiasm for caregiving combined with your experience will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties

• Provide attentive care for residents and ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, laundry and room cleaning .
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation
• Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to elderly safety or well-being and reporting them to appropriate authorities
• Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations while maintaining calmness and professionalism if need and if individual does not have a dnr.
• Plan and execute age-appropriate educational activities aligned with dementia and elderly development principles

Qualifications

• Experience working with dementia and elderly.
• Prior experience caring for individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
• Knowledge of early signs of Dementia and Alzhiemers,strokes,seziures etc.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid from recognized organizations is required
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to elderly safety and welfare
• Ability to handle behavior management effectively while fostering a positive environment
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, or other caregivers
• Passion for caregiving combined with patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
