Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to elderly individuals. Duties

• Provide attentive care to elderly adults ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, changing their depends, bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping.
• Support dementia care through engaging activities that promote memory.
• Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns appropriately
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to safe daily living experiences
• Collaborate with families and team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, special needs and/or elderly individuals is highly preferred
• Prior caregiving experience including bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, medication reminders.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required; ongoing training encouraged
• Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to safety and welfare
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect positively with clients and families
