Caregiver - Assisted Living

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, memory care, or a related field and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety while promoting independence.

Duties

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, including those with dementia or other memory-related conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in nursing homes or group home settings to ensure comprehensive care.

Shift Available: PT Night Shift (NOC) (+ $1hr Shift Differential), PT Day weekends

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, social work, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of senior care practices and familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility as needed.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.
