Position Overview

As a Caregiver/Companion, you will provide compassionate support that allows seniors to remain independent in their homes while maintaining dignity and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation

Offer medication reminders

Run errands and provide transportation to appointments

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Provide specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care (if applicable)

Communicate effectively with clients and their families

Qualifications & Requirements

Caring, patient, and dependable personality

Treat clients with dignity and respect

Reliable transportation

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if applicable)

Ability to pass background screening, DMV check, and drug screening

Compliance with Virginia state regulations

Effective communication skills

Weekend availability (if applicable)

Prior caregiving experience preferred, but not required
