Seniors Helping Seniors® Stafford-Manassas is seeking an experienced caregiver to join our team as a PRN (as needed) caregiver for a client in Culpeper, VA. This client would benefit from a caregiver who is a strong match for his needs, and qualified male caregivers are especially encouraged to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part-time position with the potential to pick up additional hours as new client assignments become available.

Compensation

* Starting pay: $18.00 per hour

Position Details

• Part-Time PRN Position
• Must guarantee availability at least two weekdays each week
• Must guarantee to work two 5-hour daytime shifts per week as needed
• Additional daytime shifts available as our client base continues to grow
• Opportunity to transition into a regular part-time schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing and dressing
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized home
• Provide medication reminders
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition
• Promote the client's comfort, dignity, safety, and independence
• Experience providing care for individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease is strongly preferred
