Caregivers Wanted (Third Shift)

Position: Third Shift Caregiver

Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated caregiver to provide overnight support in a residential care setting. This position offers a relaxed work environment while playing an important role in ensuring residents remain safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the night.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to residents during overnight hours.
• Complete resident checks and provide assistance with toileting, incontinence care, and changing as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests.
• Prepare simple meals, snacks, and breakfast items for residents.
• Complete light housekeeping duties, including cleaning common areas, kitchen tasks, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment.
• Document resident care and any notable observations during the shift.
• Ensure resident safety and follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Engage in friendly conversation and provide companionship to residents who may be awake during the night.
• Assist with morning routines as needed before shift change.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward elderly and vulnerable adults.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required; training is available.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care needs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
