Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-Free Health Insurace

BrightStar Care is looking for full-time and part-time Caregivers/CNAs (certified nursing assistant) to join our growing team! At BrightStar Care, our Caregivers/CNAs (certified nursing assistant) build long-term relationships with our clients, patients, and even families. PCAs (personal care attends/caregivers) are ESSENTIAL to the well-being of some of our most vulnerable citizens. Our Caregiver/CNAs (certified nursing assistant) provide care to clients in the Shawnee County area. BrightStar Care Caregivers/CNAs (certified nursing assistant) focus on their patients in a one-on-one environment.

Job Duties

• Hygiene care, taking vital signs, bathing, dressing, assistance with ambulation and transfers, etc
• Meal preparation, transportation to appointments, exercises and outdoor and other activities, and so much more!
• Collaboration with family and admin team to ensure patient plan of care is up to date.
• Report any changes in condition to nurse supervisor

Position Requirements

• Current CPR Certification (BLS- Red Cross or American Heart Association) we offer a class at a reduced cost if you need your BLS
• Negative TB skin test (within the last 30 days)
• Ability to pass drug screen
• Proof of COVID Vaccination, highly recommended to increase available client and facility shifts.
• Current Flu Vaccination, highly recommended to increase available client shifts
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be 18 years of age or older
