Canterfield of Franklin is looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver to join our team! If you enjoy helping older adults and making a difference in their daily lives, we’d love to hear from you.

Schedule

Full-time 6a-2p/Full-time 2p-10p Pay: $18-$20 (based on experience and shift)

What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily needs.
• Support safe mobility and transfers according to resident care plans.
• Encourage independence while respecting each resident’s dignity and preferences.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse or supervisor.
• Document care provided and help maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Encourage participation in activities and provide companionship.
• Assist the dining team with meal distribution, serving, and cleanup as assigned.
• Support the Activities Department by helping residents get to activities, encouraging participation, and assisting with scheduled programs.

What We’re Looking For

• A caring attitude, patience, and dependable attendance.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous caregiving or senior living experience preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and complete required training.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability for weekends and holidays as scheduled.
