Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and meal preparation.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or memory impairments through tailored activities and compassionate engagement.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care activities, vital signs, and observations while ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Uphold infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).

Experience/Skills

• Experience in caregiving.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in vital signs.
• Familiarity with systems that support individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to perform tasks independently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their dignity and independence.
• CPR & First Aid certified.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
