Caregiver / CNA – In-Home Care

Job Summary

As a Caregiver / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in in-home care, you’ll provide respectful, dependable support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home. You’ll assist with personal care, daily routines, meals, mobility, and companionship while following care plans and protecting each client’s privacy and rights. Your impact: Attentive care and clear communication help clients and families feel supported while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility; use safe manual handling, patient transfer methods, and a Hoyer lift when trained and appropriate.
• Observe and monitor clients, report changes, and record vital signs and care provided according to care plans.
• Support medication administration only as authorized and within applicable requirements; follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy practices.
• Prepare meals, cook, assist with personal transportation, and complete light cleaning related to client care.
• Provide compassionate support for senior care, geriatrics, dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, hospice, and clients with disabilities or developmental and neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism.

Experience

• Caregiving, patient care, direct support, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is valuable; experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care is also relevant.
• Familiarity with intellectual disabilities support, patient observation, patient monitoring, resident’s rights, and client communication is preferred.
• Current first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge or certification is preferred; follow applicable requirements for the role.
• Ability to perform essential care duties, including safe transfers and lifting, while treating every client with patience and respect.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60.0 per week
