Overview

We are urgently hiring a Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for overnight shifts on weekdays and or weekends. In this paid role, you will provide attentive care and support clients’ safety, comfort, and daily routines. Your impact: Consistent observation and compassionate assistance help clients feel secure and maintain as much independence as possible overnight.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor clients, observe changes, record vital signs as directed, and follow care plans.
• Assist with medication reminders, meal preparation, cooking, and light cleaning.
• Use safe manual handling, patient transfer methods, and a Hoyer lift when trained and appropriate; provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Communicate respectfully with clients and families, protect privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and uphold residents’ rights.
• Caregiving, patient care, direct support, and client communication skills; experience in home care, home health, home and community care, or assisted living is helpful.
• Experience with senior care, geriatrics, long-term care, nursing homes, group homes, hospice, Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory care is valued.
• Experience supporting people with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other disabilities is welcome.
• Ability to assist with heavy lifting and follow safe patient monitoring and transfer practices.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
