Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged youth, ensuring their safety and emotional comfort
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing while encouraging independence and self-care skills
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development through teaching and play
• Support individuals with disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and facilitating participation in activities that enhance their quality of life
• Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child or client safety and well-being
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate response to emergencies
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that meets health and safety standards for childcare or caregiving settings

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children across different age groups or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Certification in CPR and First Aid from recognized organizations; ongoing training is encouraged
