Caregiver

A local Oconto County family is seeking a warm, reliable, and dedicated individual to provide in home care and support for a vibrant young women living with Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP). This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in a family’s life, offering companionship and practical assistance in a comfortable home environment.

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and diaper changes
• Assist with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts
• G-Tube Feeding
• Engage through social activities, companionship, and supportive interaction to enhance overall well-being

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caretaking is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Xeroderma Pigmentosum is helpful but not needed.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks including hygiene assistance
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills coupled with a caring attitude are essential for success in this role

Hours

· 1 day per week, weekends, PRN, and respite care
