Home Health Aide

### Overview:

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.

### Duties:

-Must be willing to travel to clients outside of Milwaukee Area. For examples: West Bend, Fox Lake, Beaver Dam, and Watertown. Reliable vehicle needed! Gas gift available weekly. Full-time position.

-Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, tidying up patient's living space, and errand running.

*Different from a CNA and CBRF work. It's not as intense* - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective care

### Skills:

• Experience working in nursing homes or hospice care settings is preferred
• Proficiency in cooking meals according to dietary restrictions
• Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and protocols
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
• Strong organizational skills to manage patient care schedules and documentation
• Understanding of medical terminology related to home healthcare services
• Ability to provide compassionate care for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
