Responsibilities

• Support individuals with disabilities by assisting with daily activities, mobility, and personal hygiene routines.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols.
• Maintain a nurturing environment through behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, diapering, and other duties in accordance with care plans.
• Document observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately to ensure seamless communication with families or healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Certified in first aid and CPR; ongoing training preferred.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, healthcare providers, or educators.
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while promoting safety and independence.
