Caregiver/DSP Spokane/Airway Heights

Looking for Direct Support Professionals, experience is helpful but not required as we provide all necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Managing medication must be willing to get an NAR to assist with delegated medications. Company pays for the NAR and training.
• Preparing meals
• Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
• Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping room clean, laundry)
• Providing bathing and dressing assistance (personal care)
• Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to management.
• Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
• Following client care plans
• Communicating with families, co-workers and supervisors regarding care
• Assisting with transfer and mobility
• Shopping and running errands
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
