Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring additional help in their daily activities. This position requires a commitment to providing personalized care, ensuring safety, and fostering a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the well-being of clients.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health regimens.
• Support clients with memory care techniques for those experiencing cognitive challenges.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands.

Experience

• Previous experience in home community care or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with patient care practices, including knowledge of vital signs monitoring.
• Skills in meal preparation and cooking are highly valued.
• A compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others is essential.
• Ability to clean and maintain a tidy living space for clients is necessary.
• Experience in memory care or working with individuals with cognitive impairments is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
