Position

Caregiver / Resident Assistant Schedule: 5 days per week 11 hours a day (From 9PM to 8AM) Pay: $17 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Night Shift Caregiver to provide overnight care and supervision for elderly residents in our Residential Care Facility. The ideal candidate will ensure residents' safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety and wellness checks on residents throughout the night.
• Assist residents with toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, and other personal care needs.
• Respond promptly to resident call requests and emergencies.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility support as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition.
• Administer medications according to facility policies and training requirements (if applicable).
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete shift reports.
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Communicate effectively with management and incoming staff regarding resident care needs.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, CNA, HHA, or residential care experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements.
