Job Summary

Home Helpers Home Care - Westminster is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care and support to our clients, allowing them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with meal preparation, household chores, and light housekeeping
• Support clients with daily living activities, such as medication management and mobility assistance
• Engage in conversations, play games, and participate in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes or concerns to the designated staff member
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when working with clients and their families

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in healthcare or caregiving
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer clients with care and attention to their safety and well-being
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)

Work Environment

• Full-time position, with flexible scheduling to accommodate client needs
• Hourly rate $16.00 and comprehensive benefits package
