Job Overview

As a Caregiver/Homemaker, you’ll provide respectful, dependable support that helps clients maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home or in a care setting. You’ll assist with daily routines, household tasks, and communication while following care plans and protecting each person’s rights and privacy.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, transfers, and manual handling; use a Hoyer lift when trained and directed.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Observe and monitor clients, report changes, and follow care plans, medication instructions, and applicable Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy practices.
• Support communication, dignity, and resident’s rights while providing direct support to people with varied care needs.

Experience

• Caregiving, patient care, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is relevant. Experience in assisted living, group homes, nursing homes, long-term care, hospice, or senior care is also valued.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory care, geriatrics, nursing, vital signs, patient observation, and patient transfer methods is helpful.
• Experience supporting people with autism, developmental or intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other disabilities is welcome.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 per week
