CAREGIVER/ HOUSEKEEPING

Overview

As a Caregiver/Housekeeping team member, you’ll provide respectful, person-centered support while keeping living spaces clean, comfortable, and safe. You’ll assist with daily routines, observe changes in residents’ well-being, and communicate clearly with residents and the care team. Your impact: Attentive care and a well-maintained facility help residents feel safe, supported, and respected.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, following care plans
• Support meal preparation and cooking, housekeeping, and cleaning; help maintain a comfortable environment.
• Observe and monitor residents, report changes, and assist with vital signs and medication administration when authorized.
• Provide direct support and communication tailored to individual needs, including senior care, and support for people with other disabilities.
• Respect residents’ rights, protect privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and use equipment such as a Hoyer lift only when trained and authorized. You will be trained to pass medications and administer insulin upon hire and training this training is called a level 1 medication Aid or L1ma and Insulin certification

Requirements

• (Not required but would help )Patient care, caregiving, cleaning, client communication, and the ability to follow care plans and privacy practices.
• knowledge; nursing skills and experience with patient observation, monitoring,
• Experience in home care, home health, home and community care, group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care is welcome.
• Background in geriatrics, senior care, memory care, dementia care, hospice care, or supporting individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental disabilities, or other disabilities is valued.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
