Job Posting: Full-Time Evening/Night & Weekend Caregivers

Ida’s House of Vermont is seeking a caring, compassionate, and dependable caregiver to join our team for a full-time evening/night position. We are a small, 10-bed residential care home where excellent resident care is our top priority.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with seniors and individuals with dementia, and who is committed to providing kind, respectful, and attentive care during the overnight hours.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time Evening/Night Caregiver
• Shift: 8-hour shifts
• Schedule: Evening/ overnight shifts
• Location: Ida’s House of Vermont
• Setting: 10-bed residential care home

Responsibilities Include

• Providing compassionate care and supervision to residents
• Assisting with activities of daily living as needed
• Supporting residents with dementia with patience and understanding
• Monitoring resident safety and comfort throughout the night
• Assisting with toileting, mobility, and personal care
• Meal Prep for next day
• Completing light housekeeping and overnight duties
• Communicating resident needs or changes to appropriate staff
• Helping maintain a calm, safe, and home-like environment

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience in senior care and/or dementia care
• Is patient, reliable, and compassionate
• Takes pride in providing excellent resident care
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is comfortable working overnight 8-hour shifts
• Treats residents with dignity, kindness, and respect
