Duties

• Provide attentive care to children and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene maintenance for infants, toddlers, and children
• Support early childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning and social skills
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation
• Create a nurturing environment by fostering trust and building strong relationships with clients and their families
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, health updates, and developmental milestones
• Collaborate with families, teachers, or healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care tailored to individual needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience in childcare, daycare settings, babysitting, or nannying preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Experience working with children of various ages including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom experience is a plus
