Caregiver/Med Passer

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Passer to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Administer medications accurately and safely following prescribed schedules, maintaining detailed documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs regularly, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, reporting any abnormalities promptly.
• Support residents with dementia or cognitive disabilities through personalized care plans, behavior management strategies, and engaging activities.
• Operate manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers while adhering to safe patient lifting practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and assisting with light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery and uphold residents’ rights.

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
