Job Summary

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Safely administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Monitor residents’ vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status
• Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, using specialized techniques to promote comfort and safety
• Utilize manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts to assist with transfers safely and efficiently
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or paper records
• Follow infection control procedures by cleaning resident areas and adhering to hygiene standards
• Respond promptly to resident requests or emergencies, providing reassurance and appropriate assistance
• Support group home or assisted living environments by fostering social engagement and community participation
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met
