Caregiver

Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you serve.

Duties

• Assist clients with reminders for daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior and report findings to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in health status.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Valid Drivers License is required to be put on company auto policy.

Hours

• Saturday 7:30a-6p
• Sunday 7:30a-6p
• This is an EVERY OTHER WEEKEND position but there is the possibility for more hours, if interested.
