CraeGiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time

Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM Location: Rising Sun, MD Compensation: $18

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support to an adult individual with developmental disabilities. The client is verbal, self ambulates. In need of someone that can take them out to the community . Ideal candidate must be compassionate and friendly, very attentive to safety of individuals. This position is part time.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living as applicable
• Ensure Safety of Individual
• Providing companionship and engaging in daily activities
• Safely transporting the client as needed
• Following health and safety protocols, including documentation and medication administration if needed
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for client
• DDA-approved DSP credentials
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Previous experience with individuals who are non-verbal or have complex medical needs is preferred
• Must be dependable, patient, and attentive to individual care plans
