Caregiver (Live In Preferred)

Job Summary

Serene Meadows Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to support residents in our small, home‑like assisted living environment in Randallstown, Maryland.

Our preferred option is a Live‑In Caregiver, offering stability and unique benefits. However, if live‑in caregiving is not possible, we are open to arranging coverage through two dedicated caregivers ,one for the day and one for the night ,to ensure residents receive continuous, high‑quality care.

Pay

$16.00 – $20.00 per hour

Competitive entry‑level rate for Baltimore County.

Responsibilities

Personal Care

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
• Support mobility and transfers
• Assist with meals and hydration

Medication Support

• Provide medication reminders
• Report unusual reactions or changes

Resident Monitoring

• Observe and report changes in mood, appetite, or condition
• Provide companionship and emotional support

Household Tasks

• Laundry
• Light housekeeping
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas
• Kitchen assistance and meal preparation

Safety & Documentation

• Ensure resident safety
• Follow emergency protocols
• Maintain basic care documentation

Qualifications

Required

• Compassion, patience, and reliability
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain a calm, respectful environment

Preferred

• Experience in assisted living, home care, or senior care
• CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
