Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities and personal care. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability
• Support clients with medication management and administration following prescribed protocols
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement
• Operate standard passenger vehicles safely for client transportation to appointments or community activities
• Follow safe patient lifting practices using manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and overall sanitation

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable
• Proven background in dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, or geriatrics enhances your ability to support clients with cognitive disabilities
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support is preferred
• Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation and client communication is advantageous
