Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Support patients with mobility and transfers using proper patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences while ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Maintain detailed care plans and document all care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being and social engagement.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Support clients with transportation for medical appointments or community outings, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Observe and report on patient conditions, including changes related to dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Follow all safety protocols during manual handling, patient transfers, and emergency situations like first aid or CPR administration.
