Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption when needed
• Support mobility through safe patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
• Support clients with specialized needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or other neurodevelopmental disorders through tailored care strategies
• Facilitate transportation for medical appointments or community activities ensuring safety and comfort
