Job Offer: Caregivers / Personal Care Assistant

Touching Hearts at Home of Brevard is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide quality non-medical care that promotes clients’ dignity, safety, independence, and well-being in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and support clients with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
• Prepare meals, provide medication reminders, and perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings, as assigned.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
• Follow individualized care plans, safety procedures, infection control practices, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to assist with mobility and transfers safely, as required by the care plan and within training and authorization.
• Knowledge of client rights, confidentiality, and basic caregiving practices.
• Compassion, patience, reliability, and a commitment to quality care.
