Job Overview

We are urgently hiring a Caregiver for daytime, mid-day, evening, and overnight shifts. In this paid role, you will provide attentive, non-medical care in clients’ homes and, when needed, in assisted living or nursing home settings.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, cooking, light cleaning, and personal transportation.
• Provide companionship and direct support; communicate respectfully with clients and families while honoring residents’ rights and privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Follow care plans and support medication administration as directed; observe and report changes in clients’ condition, including vital signs when assigned.
• Assist with safe transfers and manual handling, including use of a Hoyer lift when trained and authorized.
• Your impact: Consistent observation and compassionate assistance help clients feel safer and more comfortable while supporting their independence.

Qualifications

• Caregiving, patient care, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is helpful; group home, assisted living, nursing home, hospice, long-term care, senior care, or geriatric experience is also valued.
• Experience supporting people with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, memory care needs, autism, developmental or intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other disabilities is welcome.
• Familiarity with patient observation and monitoring, care plans, medication administration, patient transfers, heavy lifting, and first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is preferred.
• Bring clear client communication, respect for privacy, and a dependable, attentive approach to care.

Pay: $13.00 per hour
