Caregiver Weekend Shifts

• We have several open positions. You can start work immediately.
• We provide flexible hours
• One on one care so to you build a caring relationship with the client.
• Hands on training with the client in the home
• Experience staff to support you.
• Salary 19.00 to 20.00 depending on experience.
• Bonus of $1.00 hour for weekend shifts

*Responsibilities*

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Have fun with the client

*Skills*

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• BIG heart for seniors
• Respectful and compassionate
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethical
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
