Caregiver

We are looking for Caregivers on the weekdays and weekends, daytime and overnights who are passionate about working with our senior clients in a professional and compassionate manner. To ensure reliable scheduling and support for our clients this location prioritizes candidates who reside within a 30-minute commute of our clients in Scottsdale and Phoenix.

Caregiver Responsibilities Include

• Help remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Do laundry, change linens
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents to your supervisor
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills Needed

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
