No previous caregiving experience is required.

What You'll Do

As a Willington Home Care Caregiver, you'll help clients remain independent by providing compassionate, non-medical assistance, including:

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment
• Assisting with walking, transfers, and mobility support when appropriate
• Accompanying clients during daily routines and engaging them in meaningful activities
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's physical or emotional well-being
• Supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other age-related conditions with patience and compassion
• Completing accurate documentation while maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, assisted living, memory care, hospitality, customer service, childcare, education, or other helping professions is welcomed—but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required state and federal background checks
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position
• CPR and First Aid certification are a plus (not required at hire)
