CAREGIVERS — CNA / PCA / HHA / COMPANION

Job Overview

Maya Home Health Care is a locally owned, Nurse Practitioner-led home health care company serving families throughout Northern Virginia. We are growing and seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

We are especially interested in CNAs looking for consistent client assignments, supportive clinical guidance, and opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide mobility, transfer, and ambulation assistance.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan and applicable policies.
• Support clients with dementia and memory-related needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and daily records.
• Follow individualized plans of care.
• Promote client safety, dignity, comfort, and independence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude.
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous caregiving or home health experience preferred.
• Dementia care and transfer experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and employment screening.
