Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status
• Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care strategies
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social engagement and well-being
• Maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for each resident’s care plan
• Follow infection control procedures by cleaning and sanitizing resident areas regularly
• Respond promptly to emergency situations with first aid or CPR when necessary
• Support residents’ participation in group activities and community outings when appropriate

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current credentials
• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments
• Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and memory care techniques
