Certified Home Health Aide/CNAs

Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs
• Observe patient condition and report changes promptly to RN Supervisor
• Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
• Maintain accurate documentation for clients.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning while ensuring dietary restrictions are followed; perform light cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
• Use medical terminology appropriately during patient interactions and documentation to ensure clear communication among healthcare teams

Skills

• Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior promptly
• Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments with long-term care experience
• Knowledge of assisting with ADLs, medication reminders
• Ability to operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively
• CPR certification is required; additional certifications like HIPAA compliance are highly valued
• Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassion for patients’ physical and emotional well-being

Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
