Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)

AmeriPrime Healthcare Inc. is a home health agency located in Tracy, CA providing high quality patient centered care in Northern California. We looking to hire a per diem Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the Stanislaus and San Joaquin County areas. The ideal candidate would cover areas in Stanislaus and Merced counties.

Compensation

• $25-$30 per hour - Depending on experience
• IRS standard mileage reimbursement [$0.725 mile] home to home.

Areas Of Responsibility

Responsibilities of the home health aide include, but are not limited to, the following

• Perform personal care including grooming, baths, oral hygiene
• Assisting patients to the bathroom or in using commodes, bedpans or urinals
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, as assigned
• May provide other ADL assistance, laundry and housekeeping tasks
• Follows established standards for point of service technology, documentation, and synchronization.
• Submits all documentation according to agency requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned consistent with skills and training

• Excellent assessment skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to confront problems constructively
• Flexible, and able to work well and participate in a multidisciplinary team setting

Requirements

• Meet the training requirements of the State
• Current HHA certification in good standing
• Minimum one year home health experience
• CPR Certification
• Valid California driver's license and automobile insurance

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
