We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time, Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work in Longview, Christian Health’s North Jersey’s premier assisted living residence. Responsible for assisting residents with daily care in accordance with established nursing care procedures. Liaison to nursing staff for communication of and/or routing of clinical care concerns. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.

Qualifications

* Administer medication as prescribed by the health care provider in congruence with the five rights of medical action administration. * Provides assistance with dressing and/or appropriate clothing selection. * Maintains an awareness of resident service plans and follows through by implementing care need changes promptly. * Demonstrates an understanding of Assisted Living principles including Resident choice, privacy, independence, dignity in all interactions with Resident. * Supervises and demonstrates pro-active care for resident on a daily basis. * Assists residents with ambulation as needed.
