ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE CNA POSITION

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing personal care and services for the Residents of the Care Center, for participating in risk management initiatives, and for acting as an advocate for Residents and/or family members.

• Maintains thorough knowledge of each assigned Resident’s Plan of Care and Restorative Plan of Care and demonstrates this through completion of compliant and individualized personal care.
• Reviews the Resident Kardex reminders on a daily basis to assure follow-through with needs/approaches, etc.
• Provides accurate and timely documentation to include but not be limited to temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, height, intake/outtake, etc.
• Assists in meal activities by preparing/transporting Residents to the dining room, distributing and setting up food trays, securing alternate choices as...
