Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using safe lifting practices and equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records standards.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings such as long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), outpatient clinics, or home care environments to ensure comprehensive patient service.
• Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or phlebotomy to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
