Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver

A Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting patient care within Adult Day Care settings. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing CNA assists with daily living activities, ensures patient comfort, and promotes a safe, hygienic environment to enhance patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance with hygiene and daily activities
• Support patient mobility and help prevent complications from immobility
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and care delivered
• Implement infection control and safety compliance protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Ensure a safe environment to minimize risks and promote patient well-being
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas in accordance with infection prevention and control standards.
• Ensures common areas remain clean, organized, and well-maintained each day to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in patient care
• BLS
• Current TB clearance
• Current Physical

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Basic patient care skills
• Strong patient communication abilities
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Knowledge of safety procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
