Certified Nursing Assistant

In this position you will support Med/Surg department, Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit, and Emergency Department.

Here are some ways you’ll serve patients

* Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels – so we can better assess patient health * Transport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time * Interact with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they heal * Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely Assist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more. *

Schedule

* Part-Time 60 hours every two weeks * Variable 12-hour shifts; shifts to include 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm (you would be working a combination of both shifts) * Every 3rd weekend 7pm-7:30am Rotating Holidays *

Pay and Benefits

* Starting pay begins at $19.40 per hour and increases with experience. + Pay Range: $19.40 - $28.79 per hour Benefits include medical, dental, vacation accrual, retirement, and employee discounts. *

Qualifications

* Certified as a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Registry. * Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required. * Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association. * Strong interpersonal human relations skills.
