About the Role

Sthenos Technologies is hiring compassionate, reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support residents at the Selinsgrove State Centre, a Pennsylvania state facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a CNA, you will provide hands-on daily care that directly improves residents' comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holidays
• No requested time off (RTO) during the first 4 weeks of orientation
• Strict no cell phone policy while on the floor

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and repositioning
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition
• Report resident needs and concerns promptly to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
• Follow all facility policies, care plans, and infection-control standards

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dependable attendance and strong commitment to resident-centered care
• Prior long-term care or IDD experience a plus

Credentialing Requirements

All candidates must complete Sthenos credentialing before start. Required items:

• Active Pennsylvania CNA certification, verified on the PA Nurse Aide Registry (PA CNAs are not state-licensed)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Government-issued photo ID / driver's license
