Job Title: Bilingual Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Home Care

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Per Diem

Location: *Palm Beach County*

Reports To: Registered Nurse (RN) / Case Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in dementia care and hospice support to provide high-quality care for clients in their homes. This role focuses on ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for clients experiencing cognitive decline or nearing end-of-life, while offering respectful and empathetic support to families.

The ideal candidate is patient, observant, and capable of handling emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with personal care needs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care

Provide mobility support: safe transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention

Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior, including signs of pain or distress

Offer compassionate companionship, redirection, and reassurance to dementia clients

Support end-of-life comfort care per hospice plan, including hygiene, mouth care, and emotional support

Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding, as needed

Maintain a calm, peaceful environment suitable for clients with cognitive or terminal conditions

Communicate clearly and respectfully with families

Languages: SPANISH/English

Requirements

Current CNA certification in Florida

Valid CPR and First Aid certification

Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or hospice care required

Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy

Physical ability to assist with lifting, mobility, and personal care

Excellent communication and emotional resilience

Preferred Qualifications

Dementia care training (e.g., Alzheimer's Association...)

Experience working in home care, hospice, or memory care environments
