Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – In-Home Caregiver

is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality in-home care to clients, including individuals living with dementia. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to helping clients maintain their dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life in the familiarity of their own homes.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as needed.
• Provide care and companionship for clients living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
• Use patience, understanding, and redirection techniques when supporting clients with memory loss or confusion.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other routine household tasks related to client care.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by applicable regulations and the care plan.
• Monitor clients for changes in behavior, health, or overall well-being and report concerns appropriately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies while respecting client privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.
• Previous experience providing dementia or Alzheimer's care required.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required.
• Dependable transportation to and from clients' homes.
• Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to assist clients with personal care and mobility, as required by the position.
• Ability to pass applicable background checks and meet agency employment requirements.

Schedule

• Part-time position.
• Flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability.
• Availability for assigned client visits and reliable attendance are essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 12.0 per week
