Job Summary

Meadowbrook Post Acute is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. The CNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and plays a vital role in promoting resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Provide routine care such as vital signs, weights, and intake/output monitoring
  • Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely manner
  • Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition to nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times
  • Document care provided in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of California
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transferring residents
